Corinne (Cory) Waheed

Corinne (Cory) Waheed – Singer Ever since I first volunteered for the Becket Players, at the age of nine, I knew one day I wanted to sing with them. My first role was as security in the singer’s dressing room, where I watched the show on a small monitor. Moving forward I spent many years backstage as a dresser for dancers, such as Romy. Then I joined my mom, Sofi, as a waitress, where I got to watch glimpses of the live performances. Finally, after attending several singing and vocal lessons, I auditioned to sing. Here I am now, 25 years later, realizing my dreams of singing with the Becket Players. I am very grateful for this opportunity and enjoy every moment.
